We have a dynamic and dedicated community of students, faculty and staff. All of us are dedicated to serving you and helping you meet your goals. Opportunities abound to pursue a variety of interesting and enjoyable activities during your college experience. Whether it is research or community service, music or mountain climbing, the sciences or the arts, you will find an on-going list of activities and events on or near campus. I also encourage you to support the Braveheart spirit by attending athletic events and cheering for our student athletes as they compete against other Division I teams. Our first students were admitted in 1954 and, since then, the university has broadened its mission to every area of discovery and scholarly inquiry.
